CryptoVank is an independent crypto news site for readers worldwide. This policy explains how our stories are produced, sourced, checked and corrected, and how we handle conflicts of interest. It applies to everything we publish: news, analysis, guides and our crypto card rankings.
Who we are
CryptoVank is produced by the CryptoVank editorial team. Our stories carry the CryptoVank Desk byline, our newsroom byline. Responsibility, contact details and ownership are set out on our masthead.
How we use AI
We are open about our process. CryptoVank Desk stories are drafted with the help of AI tools, which we use to collect source material, summarise documents and produce first drafts. AI does not decide what we publish and is never treated as a source.
- Every fact, figure and quote must trace back to a named primary or reputable source that we link in the article.
- Prices, flows and on-chain figures are checked against the data provider named in the story, with the time of the reading in UTC.
- Stories are edited by the CryptoVank editorial team against this policy before publication and updated when facts change.
- We do not publish AI-generated images of real people, and charts are built from the data we cite.
Sourcing
We prefer primary sources: regulators, court filings, company and issuer pages, official blogs, exchange and on-chain data, and named spokespeople. When we rely on another outlet’s reporting, we name and link it. Anonymous claims, social media rumours and unverified screenshots are not reported as fact. If a story is still developing, we say so.
Accuracy and corrections
When we get something wrong, we fix it and say so. Significant corrections are added as a dated note at the end of the article. Our full process is in the corrections policy. To report an error, email contact@cryptovank.com with the article link.
Independence and conflicts of interest
- Coverage and rankings are editorial decisions. Nobody can pay for a story, a better score or a removal.
- Some links, including on our crypto cards page, are affiliate or referral links. They are labelled “Sponsored · Affiliate”, and our affiliate disclosure explains how they work. They never change our scores or the order of rankings.
- Advertising is shown by ad networks and is kept separate from editorial content.
- Anyone writing or editing for CryptoVank must disclose holdings in an asset or company they cover. We do not cover a project in exchange for tokens, fees or other benefits.
- We do not publish press releases as news. Sponsored content, if any, is clearly labelled.
