Crypto card FAQ
What is a crypto card?
A payment card (Visa or Mastercard) that spends your crypto or stablecoin balance. The coins are converted to local money at checkout, so the shop gets normal currency.
Which crypto card works in Morocco?
Of the cards we track, only KAST lists Morocco among its supported countries (Apple Pay country list). Binance shows a Middle East & Africa region but publishes no country list. Most others, including RedotPay, Wirex, Bitget Wallet and Nexo, do not accept Moroccan residents today. Always confirm in the app before applying.
Are crypto cashback rewards really free money?
Rewards are usually paid in a token (CRO, WXT, USDG, NEXO, BTC) whose price can fall. Many 'up to' rates need staking, a paid plan or a VIP level. Compare the rate you will actually get, not the headline.
Do I pay tax when I spend crypto with a card?
In many countries, spending crypto counts as selling it, which can create a taxable gain. Spending stablecoins usually creates little or no gain. Check your local rules.
Custodial vs self-custody cards — what's the difference?
Custodial cards (KAST, Bybit, Crypto.com) spend from an account the company holds. Self-custody cards (MetaMask, Bitget Wallet) spend directly from your own wallet, so you keep the keys.
How does CryptoVank make money from this page?
Some 'Get card' buttons are referral links. We may earn a commission if you sign up. Scores come from our published methodology and are the same whether or not a link pays us.
Card names are trademarks of their owners; card images are illustrative CryptoVank artwork. Rates change often — check the issuer's site before applying.
