Quick answer: JPMorgan made its tokenized money market funds, MONY and JLTXX, available on Solana to qualified U.S. investors on Oct. 22, 2026, per a J.P. Morgan Asset Management release. Both were already on Ethereum. JLTXX, built for stablecoin issuer reserves, held $628.48 million on Sep. 30, 2026.
JPMorgan, the largest U.S. bank by assets, now runs part of its cash business on Solana. J.P. Morgan Asset Management said on Oct. 22, 2026, that its two tokenized money market funds are live on the network, in a press release on PR Newswire.
The JPMorgan Solana launch covers My OnChain Net Yield Fund (MONY) and the JPMorgan OnChain Liquidity-Token Money Market Fund (JLTXX). Before this, both were available only on Ethereum. The firm manages $4.8 trillion, so even a small on-chain product sends a strong signal to the market.

What did JPMorgan launch on Solana?
Qualified U.S. investors can now hold MONY and JLTXX tokens at Solana addresses. To do so, they subscribe and redeem through Morgan Money, the bank’s institutional cash platform, and receive token balances in their own wallets.
“Our clients operate across more than one network, and their liquidity should too,” said Paul Przybylski, global head of product for digital and tokenized assets, in the release. He added that the move gives stablecoin issuers and institutions “access to the same funds” across the networks where they work.
In addition, the release lists the Solana token addresses. MONY is EToDtBM2knZ8N1BHyUq2Riq5ngWTcoD3k6qpsgf7CKYY and JLTXX is J4cTuCH6frt4AnEmKfMS2k8hsUf7K94PV62sjUJno8Cz. However, always check addresses against the official source, since copycat tokens are common.
What are MONY and JLTXX?
However, the two funds serve different buyers.
- MONY is a 506(c) private placement fund that pays U.S. dollar yields. It launched in December 2025 and is open only to accredited investors and qualified purchasers.
- JLTXX is a U.S. registered government money market fund. It invests only in Treasury bills, notes and bonds, overnight repo backed by Treasuries, and cash.
JLTXX is the more important one for crypto. Its fact sheet says it is designed to meet the reserve rules for stablecoin issuers under the GENIUS Act. For example, as of Sep. 30, 2026, it held $628.48 million, with a $1 million minimum and net expenses of 0.16% a year. Also, it aims for a stable $1.00 share price.
Why does the JPMorgan Solana move matter?
It is a distribution story, not a new product. Still, three points stand out.
First, it targets stablecoin issuers directly. The new U.S. rules, which the OCC turned into a final GENIUS Act rule, push issuers to hold cash and short-term Treasuries. As a result, a tokenized fund on the same chain as the stablecoin lets an issuer move reserves without leaving the network.
Second, Solana also gets another top-tier institutional user. The network already hosts large stablecoin volumes and recently cut finality with Alpenglow. Therefore, a bank-run fund adds credibility for treasurers who still see public chains as risky.
Third, banks are racing to put cash on-chain. In the past week, SoFi launched a tokenized deposit and HSBC put its RedCoin stablecoin inside a payments app. So JPMorgan’s step fits that trend.
Can regular investors buy JLTXX on Solana?
No. First of all, only wallets on the fund’s allow list can buy, redeem or transfer tokens. An SEC prospectus supplement dated Oct. 1, 2026, says Ethereum and Solana are the only networks for now. It also says that the fund can correct errors or unauthorized moves in token balances. In other words, this is a permissioned product on a public chain, not a token you can swap on a decentralized exchange.
What does it mean for SOL and the market?
SOL traded near $104 on Oct. 23, 2026, at 12:58 UTC, flat over 24 hours, per CoinGecko. Even so, the news did not move the price, which is normal for slow-burn institutional deals. Track live data on our Solana price page.
Meanwhile, the long-term angle is demand for block space and stablecoin liquidity. If more issuers park reserves in on-chain funds, Solana could capture more settlement activity. That said, it depends on adoption, and the funds are still small next to JPMorgan’s balance sheet.
