Quick answer: The StandX airdrop checker went live on Oct. 26, 2026. Eligible users can claim a one-time DUSD stablecoin payout, with no lockup, from Nov. 1, 00:00 UTC to Dec. 31, 08:00 UTC, per StandX. There is no token. The perp DEX is winding down, and withdrawals close on Jan. 31, 2027.
The StandX airdrop is real, but it is not the token many farmers were waiting for. On Oct. 26, 2026, StandX said on X that its airdrop checker is live, so users can now see how much DUSD, the platform’s dollar stablecoin, they will receive.
The checker is the first step in a planned shutdown. StandX, a perpetual futures exchange on BNB Chain and Solana, announced on Oct. 15 that it would wind down and skip its token launch. As a result, users now face a short list of hard deadlines, and missing one means losing money.
Why is StandX paying an airdrop in DUSD instead of a token?
StandX said it decided “not to launch a token” after a strategic review of the business and market conditions. Instead, it will put “all of the project’s remaining revenue” toward a one-time DUSD airdrop, topped up with funds from the team.
The exchange said it served more than 237,000 users since its mainnet launched in November 2025, with total value locked peaking above $200 million. It also said most of its revenue had already gone back to users through two earlier reward programs, SIP-2 and SIP-3. That helps explain why the final pool is small compared with the activity that earned it.
Allocations are based on pre-deposits, the Alpha phase, mainnet trading, market making and referrals. All of them pass anti-Sybil and wash-trading screening, and StandX can adjust or void allocations for abnormal accounts.
How do you claim the StandX airdrop?
The process is simple, but the timing matters:
- Check your allocation on the official checker at standx.com/airdrop. Type the address yourself instead of clicking links in replies or DMs.
- Claim from Nov. 1, 2026, 00:00 UTC with the same wallet you used on StandX, on BNB Chain or Solana.
- Finish before Dec. 31, 2026, 08:00 UTC. Unclaimed DUSD is forfeited.
There is no lockup, so you can transfer, trade or redeem the DUSD as soon as you claim it. StandX said it will never DM users, ask for a seed phrase or ask anyone to send funds to receive the airdrop. Fake claim pages tend to appear around every big drop, as recent wallet-drain cases and lookalike phishing sites show.
What are the other StandX shutdown deadlines?
The airdrop is only one of several dates. According to the Oct. 15 announcement, all yield stopped on Oct. 15, and perps moved to reduce-only on Oct. 20, so traders can close positions but not open new ones.
| Date (UTC) | What happens |
|---|---|
| Oct. 26, 2026 | Airdrop checker live |
| Nov. 1, 2026, 00:00 | Claims open |
| Dec. 31, 2026, 08:00 | Claims close, unclaimed DUSD forfeited |
| Jan. 15, 2027 | All open positions closed at mark price |
| Jan. 31, 2027 | Last day to withdraw and request DUSD redemption |
To exit, move funds from the Perps Wallet to the Cash Wallet, then withdraw on-chain before Jan. 31, 2027. Withdrawals arrive as DUSD. To get USDT, submit a redemption request by that date. Redemptions take about seven days, so all of them should finish by Feb. 7. StandX also plans to pull its DUSD liquidity from PancakeSwap and Raydium on Jan. 31, which matters for anyone providing liquidity there.
Why are users angry about the payout?
Since the checker opened, many posts on X have shared screenshots of allocations worth only a few dollars after months of trading fees and deposits. For example, one Spanish-language DeFi account called its allocation little more than “a pat on the back.”
StandX expected this. “We know this won’t meet everyone’s expectations,” the team wrote on Oct. 15. However, the anger fits a wider 2026 trend of points programs ending without tokens. Abstract, the layer-2 network from Pudgy Penguins’ parent company, is also shutting down on Dec. 15, and Sophon set a Nov. 25 withdrawal deadline.
What does this mean for the market?
The direct market impact is small, because there is no token to sell and DUSD is meant to hold a dollar value. StandX said DUSD is fully collateralized and that the platform had zero fund security incidents. Still, the case is a warning for airdrop hunters. Points are a promise, not an asset, and a project can change the reward at the end. Similarly, the Ritual airdrop this week shows how much token rules can differ from one launch to the next.
